The first company to occupied this site was the the Grit Company of Australia Pty Ltd. The company were manufacturers of abrasive grit for metal cutting, sanding and grinding. The company also occupied a site on the east side of Annesley St.

In the early 1960's, F. T. Wimble & Co, a manufacturer and supplier of inks and other equipment to the printing industry moved to the site.

​

SICPA Australia Pty Ltd took over F.T. Wimble & Co in 1992. Subsequently SICPA closed the Braybrook site and moved to Millers Rd, Brooklyn.

​

For a number of years after this, Ink Colour (Aust) Pty Ltd, another ink manufacturer, occupied the site.
