Martin Baird Lynch was a blacksmith and farrier who opened a business at Braybrook Junction on the corner of Ballarat Rd & Hampshire Rd.

Once the motor car appeared he started to service and provide fuel to cars and trucks.

​

The buildings have been demolished and is now a 7-Eleven Convenience Store. The site is still serving fuel to cars and trucks.
