Albion Women's Amateur Athletic Club

In 1967 the Albion Women's Amateur Athletic Club was started by the Albion Football Sports Club and a keen group of parents and girls to provide recreation sport for women in the City of Sunshine.

The women won their first premiership flag in 1968.

Both the Women's and the Men's Sunshine Amateur Athletic Clubs trained at J. R. Parsons Reserve, Stanford St, Sunshine.

In 1983 the two clubs amalgamated forming the Sunshine Athletic Club.
