Wesleyan Church
Worcester (Worchester) Street, Albion (Old)

Wesleyan Church North Sunshine (Former Cornish Miners Hut) Photo 01.jpg

This Cornish miner's cottage was converted into the Albion (Old) Wesleyan Church. In later years the church changed its name to Albion Methodist Church.

After the church closed and sold, Mrs Agnes Newman used it as her private residence. The proceeds of the sale of the church went to the building of a new Methodist Church in Devonshire Road, Sunshine.

In the Sands & McDougall Directories the church is listed as being Worcester (Worchester) Street but the building fronted Essex Street.
