Iris Noble Decorative Eggs

Iris Noble (Nee Howard) lived in North Sunshine and passed away at the age of 94.

 

She was described as lace maker, seamstress, potter and an very meticulous and talented artist.

 

The Sunshine & District Historical Society Inc have obtained some of the artefacts she made.

 

The items mainly appear to be 'decorated' egg shells from geese and one from an ostrich.

 

There are also a couple of paintings and some lace work.

During WW2 iris was a Air Raid Warden.
