Many of the little athletics centres had small individual clubs affiliated with them. For example the Sunshine Athletics Centre had clubs that were formed from the local primary schools (Albion, Maidstone, North Sunshine, Sunvale, West Sunshine, etc) whereas the Deer Park Centre had clubs formed from the local primary schools (Deer Park Centre, Deer Park North, Deer Park West, St. Peter Chanel, etc).

Unfortunately many of the names of the people associated these clubs are not known. These clubs did produce handbooks & newsletters and perhaps these records still exist in people's personal collections. If you have further information please contact the Sunshine & Historical Society.
