Somerville Rd Bridge 1990
In 1990 the Somerville Rd Bridge saw the opening of the last main vehicle bridge that was built to link Sunshine West to the east with Brooklyn.
The bridge was also built to try to take the heavy commercial traffic away from Glengala Rd and the residential streets.
The stacks of Monsanto can be seen in the left and the roof line of Market Timber on the right.
